The letter arrived. The clock is running.
Tax reminder, register letter, formal notice: it reads scanned mail, opens a case, notes the deadline and warns you. And forwards it to your accountant if you approve.
What happens
Registered-office mail arrives scanned by e-mail, or on paper in a pile. A reminder from the administration with a thirty-day deadline stays in the inbox. When it's reopened, the fine is there.
What it does in this case
It reads the letter
Scanned, photographed or received by e-mail: it identifies the sender, the subject and the deadline.
It opens a case
Status, next action, deadline. The letter is filed and findable.
It warns you
In the morning list, with the deadline. Before the date, not after.
It prepares the forwarding
To your accountant, your lawyer, or the reply to the administration: the draft is ready. You approve.
The trade register sanctions late files
- Since 21 September 2026, the Luxembourg Business Registers has been gradually applying sanctions to incomplete or late RCS and RBE files: registered letter, then a public warning on the portal after 30 days, a mention on extracts after 60 days.
- After 7 months without regularisation: a penalty of €40 per day for up to 90 days, i.e. €3,600 at most. After 12 months: ex-officio removal possible.
- Regularisation ends the procedure, but penalties already applied remain due.
